The second annual Bone and Joint EXPO is a free, one-day health education event that brings the best and most innovative presentations, products and services to individuals living with arthritis, bone and joint issues and other chronic health conditions.
The Bone & Joint EXPO features:
- Seminars about arthritis-related conditions and how to improve quality of life
- Products and services that can ease the daily challenges of living with arthritis
- Arthritis Foundation educational materials and exercise demonstrations
- Opportunities to network with peers and health professionals
We are seeking volunteers to help set up and direct parking, register participants, direct participants around the event center, serve as room monitors (help introduce our speakers and keep presentations on time), distribute boxed lunches, and distribute and collect evaluations. Volunteers may serve in shifts or the full day, depending on the time commitment they would like to make. Volunteers present during the lunch shift will receive a boxed lunch.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
Description
Striking one in every five adults and 300,000 children, arthritis is the nation’s leading cause of disability. The Arthritis Foundation ( www.arthritis.org) is committed to raising awareness and reducing the impact of this serious, painful and unacceptable disease, which can severely damage joints and rob people of living life to its fullest. The Foundation funds life-changing research that has restored mobility in patients for more than six decades; fights for health care policies that improve the lives of the millions who live with arthritis; and partners with families to provide empowering programs and information.
