ORGANIZATION: Homestead Hospice

BE PART OF THE JOURNEY....Our Homestead Hospice volunteers help patients and thei families throughout the Upstate area with one of life's most important journeys through:

Direct Patient Contact- providing support to the families by providing a break to the caregiver, running errands, preparing meals, light housekeeping and emotional support.

Community Outreach -Represents Homestead Hospice in the community, at health fairs, festivals, and public speaking

Administrative support -Fulfill clerical task such as filing, making phone calls, data entry, aiding in day to day office duties, ect.

Our hospice volunteers come from every walk of life. They play a crucial role within our team.

Our volunteers are able to provide quality, compassionate care through assisstance with many challenges of a terminal illness.

Our volunteers offer companionship, respite care, office support and bereavement care.
