During these uncertain times, how can we help?

11% of adults in Weber County lack basic literacy skills. You can help change that number; you can help someone learn to read. Imagine a life without literacy: unable to read a menu, a bus schedule, or a bedtime story with your children. You can make a difference in an adult learner's life. Teaching experience is not required; please contact the Library to find out about an upcoming training session.

The Mission of the Weber County is to provide relevant information services to all segments of our community, enabling people to make meaningful decisions in their lives and participate as full-fledged members of our democratic society.
The Adult Literacy Program, working in partnership with community volunteers, seeks to empower adult members of our community in need of educational assistance with a sense of personal worth and the capability to undertake and fulfill a unique life plan, that is to pursue their own goals, to pursue their own happiness.
We'll work with your schedule.
