The Ohio History Connection hosts school groups year round for our immersive educational programs. These dynamic programs require a team of quick thinking, friendly educators/mentors, in modern clothes or historic costume. This position is great for volunteers who have classroom experience, studying education, or just want to give back and create meaningful connections with youth. Volunteers will help facilitate hands-on educational activities in the museum and Ohio Village on a variety of topics. This opportunity offers period costume opportunities.

Requirements: Volunteers must able to interact with children in an informal setting and with a variety of learning styles.

Time Commitment: A flexible time commitment of a least a couple days a month from 10am-2pm W-F, Sept. - May. This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity throughout the school year. Student schedules may vary.This position has specific training sessions for each program

Training: Specific training is provided for each session, each year.
