Certified Pet Therapy Dogs and their owners visit residents in various levels of care through our Life Enrichment Department. Our Pet Visitation Policy requires a copy of the pet's records indicating that it has had an annual physical, stool check and is up-to-date with all required vaccines and boosters (including rabies). The dog is also required to have current state issued license tags, be clean, well groomed and treated for fleas and ticks. Pets visiting must be certified by a recognized certifying agency such as Therapy Dogs International, Therapy Dogs Incorporated, Paws with Patience, Comfort Caring Canines, Love on a Leash, etc.
