Occasionally we require assistance in moving office furniture. So volunteer role requires heavy lifting. Items, such as file cabinets, book cases, desks, chairs, etc., need to be moved within one location or to another building. Need experience operating moving dollies, understand proper lifting and movign techniques and wear appropriate clothing and footwear to assure safety.

Emergency Financial Assistance- helps prevent evictions, utility disconnections, and hunger.
Free Store/Furniture and Appliance store- provides clothing, household items, and furniture to low- income families at no cost.
Through our mission we are:
addressing the immediate crisis with emergency rent and utility assistance, clothing, household goods, furniture and appliances.
providing counseling, services and support to give families the tools they need to move toward financial stability.
educating the community about the realities of poverty in Mecklenburg County.
