Pet Therapist

We are seeking a pet therapist to visit our patients and offer companionship, with your certified canine! Our schedules are completely flexible, we work with you, when you have the time to give.

We couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers! Become a part of our Hospice Compassus Volunteer Family and make a difference in the lives of people when they need it the most. Our volunteers provide the much needed comfort and support to our patients and their families in difficult times. We serve : Beaufort, Jasper, Allendale, Colleton, Hampton, Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.

You will receive detailed hospice volunteer training and team building support from our staff who also coordinates all volunteer activities. Direct patient volunteers are required to have a two-step TB Screening.

Grief Support

At Hospice Compassus we are not only here for your loved one, but we want to provide support to the whole family that extends beyond the passing of your loved one. We care about the physical, spiritual, and emotional health of our families that have experienced loss. It is with this in mind that our Bereavement support is here for you.
