Our Mission:

The American Heart Association’s mission is to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

What We Do:

We encourage women and men to learn and understand the importance of heart health. Heart disease is the leading cause of death, and most people aren’t aware of how to prevent it. Our goal is to empower people to take charge of their health so they may live life to the fullest. Throughout the year, we plan several fundraising events in order to raise money towards life-saving research, to implement heart healthy programs in schools, and teach all ages hands-on CPR and AED training.

Internship Description:

The Social Market Intern will play a key role in supporting our Go Red For Women Campaign and the Heart Ball Fundraising Gala. The Social Market intern will work closely with the Social Market Coordinator in the planning and logistics of both events, specifically managing the silent and live auctions.
