Videographer

The videographer will work closely with the Event Planning & Marketing (EP&M) team to shoot footage of events and practices. Events are usually held in the community and practices are usually held at the Embracing Legacy office. Once footage is shot, the videographer will edit the footage for final release and showing. Footage will be used to promote Embracing Legacy and its programs to the community.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Determines what camera equipment is necessary and obtains equipment from program
• Edit video using video editing software
• Communicate with the EP&M director
• Attend events & some practices
• Records interviews
• Provides footage to EP&M director
• Works with a team

• Demonstrated capability to conduct oneself in a calm and professional manner when dealing with the public and/or with challenging situations.

• Demonstrated capability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

• Ability to work well with a diverse group of staff and volunteers.

• Ability to effectively manage a wide array of tasks, projects and responsibilities.

• Ability to work productively in a frequently changing environment.

• Time Commitments

  > Flexible: Hours are generally Saturdays between the hours of 10am and 4pm; Occasional weeknights and Sundays.

  > Must be available for special events/rotation schedule available.
