Join our volunteer Army of Gratitude at the USO Sea-Tac Center, the busiest USO Airport Center on the planet! Parking at the airport general terminal parking is provided for.

Volunteers are needed to come in once a week or every other week for a Midnight to 6:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m. to Noon shift on most days of the week. We also have availability on the 4:00 p.m.- 8 p.m. Shifts on most days of the week as well as the 8:00 p.m. to Midnight Shifts on most day so the week. Volunteers at a USO Northwest Sea-Tac Center:

  • Check ID and orient guests to the Center
  • Serve snacks
  • Assist with travel needs

Mission Statement

To serve the special needs of Armed Forces personnel and their families as they transit the airport facilities of Sea-Tac International and McChord Air Force Base. To provide services, free of charge, in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment. To express the appreciation of a grateful nation to its sons and daughters who daily face harm and hardship so we may live in peace.

Description

Volunteers provide "a home away from home" for military personnel and their families. The Admiral James S. Russell USO Center is open 24 hours a day and is located on the 2nd floor at the Sea-Tac International Airport. The center offers food, beverages, television, books, e-mail access, sleeping facilities, showers, toiletries, cribs and infant supplies, and information for traveling military and their families. The McChord Air Force Base USO Center provides similar services 12 hours each day.
