Estos voluntarios visitan los pacientes en hogar de ancianos, instalaciones de vida asistida o en su casa. Terapia de mascota ha demostrado aumentar la tolerancia al dolor, reduce el estrés, baja la presión sanguínea y trae sonrisas a nuestros pacientes. Los dueños deben proveer copia de las vacunas actualizadas. Nosotros no entrenamos ni certificamos a las mascotas.
Requisitos para ser voluntario son verificación de antecedentes, examen de tuberculosis y una breve orientación sobre nuestros servicios, sin ningún costo al voluntario.
