ASTOP has amazing volunteers! On average, our volunteers give 20 to 30 hours of their time monthly to answer the crisis line or respond as a medical advocate.

Each person serving is a beacon of light in darkened places. Thank you, volunteers! Continue to light the world with your presence as you help awaken the lost, tired, and broken soul.

ASTOP needs many volunteers to serve our community and has many areas for you to find your niche.

Opportunities include:

• Answering the crisis line

• Training to be a medical advocate

• Office/Event support

Due to the sensitive nature of medical advocacy and crisis intervention, volunteers must be willing to participate in all scheduled training for if interested in volunteering on the crisis line or as a medical advocate.

Volunteer training is held two to three times a year.
