Steps of Success is a fairly new organization. The associate executive director will assist the president in the expansion of Steps of Success, oversee the daily operation, and fundraise.

Key responsibilities include:
* Assist the President to oversee the overall management and the day-to-day operations of a community
* Hire and supervise volunteer staff, ensuring adequate staffing while ensuring continuity and consistency in delivery and quality of services
* Implement approaches and services to maintain or enhance resident independence and resident satisfaction
* Participate in sales and marketing activities while developing and implementing an annual business plan that achieves the financial goals and maintains high occupancy through marketing strategies

We seek the following principal qualifications:
* 2 years experience in Management/fundraising
* Nonprofit experience preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in education, business, or related field preferred
* Ability to read and interpret financial statements and manage a budget
* Work history that supports ability to hire, direct and manage associates
