The Cupcake Girls provide nonjudgmental and confidential support through respect, resources and relationships to those in all realms of the adult entertainment industry, including sex workers and those affected by sex trafficking. Through direct care and community resources, we partner with these individuals and empower them in their pursuits.

Direct Care

This department focuses on client support as well as providing care for Cupcake Girls volunteers. There are a wide variety of roles offered in this area of the organization; volunteers have the opportunity to become case managers, resource analysts, support group facilitators, or volunteer supporters. In order to be eligible for this department, each individual needs to volunteer for 90 days and be approved by our City Director and Direct Care Manager through an interview process. We highly recommend that any volunteer interested in this team be prepared to volunteer at least five hours per week.

Volunteer Care

The Volunteer Care Department is responsible for actively seeking and recruiting volunteers while managing our volunteer workforce. It is tasked with organizing volunteer orientations, maintaining volunteer information, sending invitations to volunteer training and events, and implementing volunteer appreciation. If you consider yourself a personable and professional individual who sees the importance of valuing all team members, this could be the department for you!

Special Events

The Special Events Department focuses on a broad scope of hospitality efforts. When volunteering for this department, individuals have the chance to assist in planning annual Cupcake Girls events in addition to other various gatherings, such as donor appreciation nights. There are also opportunities to join other volunteers in baking our signature cupcakes to be presented at each monthly club visit as well as any events. And if anyone is looking to exercise his or her creative side, this department offers roles to create and assemble cost-effective, unique gifts for adult entertainers and volunteers.

Operations/Communications

This department is responsible for creating effective and efficient procedures for this organization. It serves as the building blocks for The Cupcake Girls and Operations volunteers work closely with all teams in order to implement functional systems. From organizing and maintaining city communications to managing finances, the Operations/ Communications Department covers a wide variety of volunteer roles. We’re continually searching for organized and analytical individuals who work well independently with minimal supervision.
