Assist classroom teacher with small group activities in our state-licensed after-school program. One classroom is reading; one classroom is math.
Monday-Thursday 3 pm-5pm while school is in session. Experience working with K-5 students and diversity a plus.
All volunteers will be fingerprinted and background checked. Application packet is available at our office or can be emailed by request (roxie@sfmcc.org).

Description
The Multi-Cultural Center offers programs and services to people of all backgrounds. Youth programs include a summer C.A.R.E. Camp, literacy enrichment through the Froggy Reads Program, math recovery through Natives Count, Native Youth Club, and Self-Defense/Judo. Adult programs include Job Skills Program, English Classes, Driver's Education, Cultural Celebrations, the Career Closet and more. The Multi-Cultural Center also provides community outreach through presentations and diversity training. Services offered include Interpreting & Translating and Immigration Legal Services.
