ORGANIZATION: Asian Counseling and Referral Service

Tabling with Civic Engagement!

Connect with community members to help ensure their voices have a platform to be heard!

Number of Positions: 5

Position hours: 2-8 hours at 3 or more events a year (10 - 12 possible). Events typically occur on weekends at Seattle Center.

Requirements: Outgoing and willing to connect to a wide range of community members. Asian language skills a plus! Training by Civic Engagement team required prior to service.

Minimum Age Requirement: 18
Duration Requirement: Attendance at three outreach events

Share information about voter registration, democracy vouchers and election related activities to help ensure more of our community is civically engaged at community fairs, cultural events and more. Your support will help ensure more AAPI community members have their voices and needs heard by our elected officials.

Description

Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization offering a broad array of human services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County. ACRS is the largest multiservice organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest.
