General Description

200 Orphanages Worldwide’s primary goal is to help provide safety, shelter and sustainability for orphans around the world. The all volunteer organization helps US based partners raise awareness and funds for building projects that serve orphans in their care. Our past successes include funding projects in ten countries in 2017 for almost $100,000. Safety, shelter and sustainability projects include clean water wells, security walls, remodeling and repairs, libraries, latrines, outdoor kitchens as well as building dormitories, funding school buses, tractors, livestock shelters, irrigation and greenhouses.

Expanding our donor base as well as communicating our successes with partners, supporters and volunteers is vital to the continued success of the organization.

We actively seek corporate and individual donor relationships as as well as volunteers to host fund raisers for a variety of projects. The main purpose of the Executive Assistant is to help the Founder/Director execute and administer the mission, as well as assist in expanding its vision.

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Executive Director with implementation of strategy including
    1. Communication with partners
    2. Communication with donors
    3. Communication with volunteers
    4. Communication with board
  2. Coordination of effective, periodic communications on project progress
  3. Complete due diligence on new and existing partners
  4. Prepare and mail supporter updates using Mail Chimp
  5. Distributing updates and other communications to social media outlets
  6. Keep accurate records and notes on all activities
  7. Update Mailing/Emailing List as needed

  8. Ability to use social networking tools, Facebook, twitter, Linked in
  9. Professional appearance and etiquette
  10. Ability to network effectively to promote 200 Orphanages
  11. Positive Attitude/Ability and willingness to multitask
  12. Possess honesty, sensitivity and personal integrity.
