qcff room 2017

We are currently seeking screeners for QCFF 2023, which will be held October 5-8, 2023, at The Venue at Mezzos in Cumberland, Maryland. We want to recruit as many new screeners as possible to help us review submissions. Submissions are open January 1 through July 31, screening should be completed during August, and program and schedule should be announced by September 1.

An excellent volunteer opportunity for qualified individuals. Ideal candidates will be residents of Allegany County, Maryland, have high-speed internet access, and possess extensive knowledge of cinema within one or more categories. You should be prepared to sort through many, many submissions to find the few hidden gems we will select and screen.

For QCFF 2023, our categories include: Animation, Appalachian, Cult, Documentary, Horror/SciFi, LGBT, Music, and Social Justice. We are also looking for category leads in several categories - subject matter experts who would be interested in not just reviewing submissions but curating the category.
