We are currently seeking screeners for QCFF 2020, which will be held April 1-4, 2021, at The Venue at Mezzos in Cumberland, Maryland. We want to recruit as many new screeners as possible to help us review submissions.
An excellent volunteer opportunity for qualified individuals. Ideal candidates will be residents of Allegany County, Maryland, have high-speed internet access, and possess extensive knowledge of cinema within one or more categories. You should be prepared to sort through many, many submissions to find the few hidden gems we will select and screen.
For QCFF 2020, our categories include: Animation, Appalachian, Cult, Documentary, Horror/SciFi, Kids/Family, LGBT, Music, and Social Justice. We are also looking for category leads in several categories - subject matter experts who would be interested in not just reviewing submissions but curating the category.
The mission of Allegany Allied Arts Inc. is arts exhibition, performance, and education. It is our purpose to stage and support arts related events and productions for public benefit by putting the entertainment back in arts and entertainment, and for the benefit of our community, staff, and volunteers by exposure to and involvement in allied arts entertainment and education.
Headquartered in Cumberland, Maryland, Allegany Allied Arts is dedicated to staging and supporting arts-related events and productions. We book, produce and promote events at a variety of local venues.
