Do you enjoy working with the public and being of assistance to those in need? Patient Greeters are needed to assist patients and families at the medical office buildings located adjacent to Atrium Health Pineville. Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. during the week. Duties include greeting patients/family members, directing visitors to practices throughout the hospital Pineville campus, calling for shuttle service and obtaining wheelchairs for patients as needed.

Volunteers must be 18 years old. All volunteers must submit an application and complete the following steps to become an Atrium Health Pineville volunteer:

1. Interview

2. Orientation

3. Employees Health clearance

4. Background check

5. Site specific training

Atrium Health Pineville, located just south of Charlotte, NC, has undergone an extensive expansion that has transformed the campus into a full-service specialty care medical center over the past five years.

The expansion reaches far beyond bricks and mortar, bringing more specialized physicians and programs to the community, including radiation and surgical oncology, neurosurgery, robotic surgery and advanced cardiopulmonary services including open heart surgery program.

The Volunteer Services team is comprised of 400+ individuals ages 14 - 94! In 2019, they donated nearly 70,000 hours of service in the south Charlotte area.
