Volunteers United/AmeriCorps Seniors is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to be the primary provider of life saving and life improving programs and services for seniors in Martin County.
Volunteers are needed to help ease the profound isolation of homebound seniors who live alone, and provide services which help prevent or delay nursing home placement by delivering nutritious meals daily. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
Hours:
Monday - Friday 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
Consider substituting or volunteering one day a month. Available routes include Stuart, Port Salerno, Jensen Beach or Hobe Sound.

United Way's Volunteers/RSVP engages people of all ages and backgrounds in volunteer service that enriches the individual and strengthens the community.
United Way's RSVP Program is a program of the United Way of Martin County and is home of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.
