The American Red Cross Disaster Cycle Services (DCS) launched the Home Fire Campaign in October 2014. The goal of the campaign is to reduce the rate of deaths and injuries due to home fires by 25 percent over five years. Volunteers assist with our strategy to target neighborhoods at-risk for home fires by installing and testing smoke alarms and providing fire safety and disaster preparedness/education planning.
