The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. Do you love birds and wildlife and also have great administrative skills? Then this is the opportunity for you to combine both worlds and make a real difference in the daily operations of an internationally-recognized wildlife rehabilitation organization.
We are looking for volunteers to provide administrative support directly to the Executive Director on special projects in the area of fund development especially with our contact database. This will include drafting correspondence, researching and recording information, and making suggestions for potential new relationships.
We need someone with a a good understanding of Raiser's Edge (or similar) database, attention to detail, and familiarity with internet research. You should be someone who likes to go the extra mile to find good information that will allow us to build better partnerships.
If you have a can-do attitude and willingness to work in an atypical work environment alongside the wildlife center you will like this opportunity.
