PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Disaster Action Post Response Teams go door to door to provide disaster preparedness and prevention information to communities affected by disasters.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Flexible.｠ All canvassing events are coordinated with the Team Captain and may include, daytime, evenings or weekends.｠ Times vary depending on what works for the majority of the group.｠ Typically each canvassing shift is 1-2 hours.
American Red Cross orientation.
Red Cross CPR/AED and Standard First Aid. ｠
Additional Disaster Services training is available for those who are interested.
