Glendale Arts invites you to join our team as an Arts and Culture Volunteer at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA. Volunteers greet guests, scan tickets, and direct guests through the auditorium. They distribute programs, answer questions in prompt and friendly manner, and perform other duties as assigned.
Arts and Culture Volunteers usually are able to view most of the shows they staff after all patrons have been seated though they are still on duty till the end of the performance. Additionally, each show an Usher works earns him or her credit toward two free tickets. Alex Ushers also enjoy complimentary parking and refreshments.
Volunteer scheduling is typically flexible ranging from few hours during the week or weekends though we do require a 12 month commitment of one shift/month. Additionally, we like to support our volunteers in any way possible including letters of recommendation, school or club credits, and professional experience.
Please fill out THIS FORM and we look forward to hearing from you.
