How far would you ride for a cure? The Albuquerque CF Cycle for Life is a one-day cycling event for riders of all abilities that raises awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. With the start and finish line at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, Cycle for Life offers riders the choice of a 35 mile route or a 65 mile route through Albuquerque. We need volunteers to help us make this a successful event, not just for our participants, but for the 33,000 kids and adults fighting CF across the country. Volunteer shifts are available all day from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm with various locations across the city. The areas we need the most help with are: Registration, Rest Stops, Route Marshals, SAG Vehicles, and Cheer Squads!

Description
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one of the most efficient voluntary health organizations of its kind and has been recognized by such magazines as Forbes and SmartMoney for its innovative approach to curing a disease. Approximately, eighty-five cents of every dollar raised is invested in cystic fibrosis (CF) research, education, and care programs.
The CF Foundation tirelessly pursues this mission by supporting research dedicated to discovering and developing new therapies and by funding and accrediting specialized care centers to treat people with the disease.
Progress has been made in the fight against this disease because the CF Foundation has seized every opportunity to support the best minds in science and to recruit the finest teams of caregivers to the CF cause.
