About HousingMatch.org

Location:

6 Liberty Square #2122, Boston, MA 02109, US

Mission Statement

To provide a network for families and individuals to share housing; obtain resources and services; secure healthy, safe, affordable homes; and reduce homelessness.

Description

HousingMatch.org is a private online community for families and individuals who seek to share housing. Our network provides additional case manager support, privacy, and security.

Many tenants cannot afford to live in Boston because rents take up 50-75% of their monthly income. They live month to month hanging by a thread. HousingMatch.org is forming a network for social services agencies, housing agencies, tenants, and landlords that can offer an option for families and individuals to connect with others who are in the same situation. By joining online directly or with a case manager referral, families can meet other families and individuals to connect using the HousingMatch.org database which will be shared privately between members only. People in need can share housing, access resources, and build a private online community that offers them safe, affordable housing. Help us build Boston's first shared housing network and open the door to shared housing opportunities utilizing a safe, private, supported online network.
