Interfaith Community Services is honored to offer the Mental Health Safe Space program (MHSS) which is a 90 minute mental health education program designed to engage listeners and expand awareness of mental health issues in our community. With MHSS education, we hope to relieve the stigmas associated with those who suffer in silence with mental healthj issues. Our desire is that as we engage in discussion, there will be a change in how mental health issues are viewed in our community and people can be empowered to find the love and support they need to live healthy, safe, functional lives.
Our need is for volunteers who enjoy doing presentations to be trained with our MHSS program and work with others to do community presentations. This is a one-of-a-kind program and a fabulous opportunity to make a positive impact on a difficult social issue.
If this topic is of interest to you, we also have other support opportunities available for the MHSS program.
