About

Visitor Counting Surveyor: Volunteer surveyors drive around the Refuge in a Refuge vehicle and count the total number of vehicles at each Refuge access point. Data are used to estimate total Refuge visitation. This is a long-term, year-round opportunity.

Duties include:

  • Drive to assigned areas of the refuge and make observations of vehicle numbers and activity for assigned periods.

Time Commitment: 2 hours, 4 week days a month plus 2 weekends a month.

Shifts needed:

Mornings between 8am and noon

Afternoons between noon and 4
