About Rescue Outreach Mission of Central Florida

Location:

1701 Historic Goldsboro Blvd., Sanford, FL 32771, US

Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement: Rescue Outreach Mission, the only Emergency Shelter in Seminole County, exists to serve disadvantaged people of Central Florida by providing resources that help prevent homelessness and by helping those who are already homeless return to self-sufficiency.

Description

Rescue Outreach Mission was founded in 1986 by Mother Blanche Bell Weaver while she served as pastor of the Rescue Church of God. Mother Weaver saw desperate people in her community living without the basic essentials and with the support of her church and its members she set out to help those in need. The mission now focuses on helping men and women return to self-sufficiency by providing transitional housing and case management.
