Providing Nutrition Meals and Support to Seniors

Seaside Home Delivered Meals Drivers take meals to homebound seniors from Gearhart to Cannon Beach on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week. They not only deliver a meal but a smiling face, a few words of comfort and check on their well-being.

Sometimes our Home Delivered Meals Drivers are the only people our homebound seniors will see during the week. Our Drivers quickly get to know the people they deliver to and report on situations which may indicate they need more assistance. They are a vital link for homebound seniors to the outside community resources.

Drivers must pass a criminal background check, have a valid drivers licence and insurance. They may drive their own vehicle or there is an agency car available. If they use their own vehicle mileage reimbursement is available.

Come join our dedicated, "can do" team of volunteers and help ensure seniors get nutritious food, social engagement. and community resources.
