VITA stands for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. We do FREE taxes for anyone who makes under $54,000, doesn’t have a bankruptcy or foreclosure, and doesn’t have military income. We run off of volunteers that we train for free. The trainings begin in December and are one and a half days. When completed the trainee will receive IRS certification to prepare tax returns with our VITA site. All returns are again checked by extensively trained Quality Reviewers so it takes a lot of pressure off of our volunteers. It is a great way to gain experience in: taxes, customer service, data entry, and lots more! Please contact us to sign up for a training date!
