To provide humanitarian services for Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes, such as shelter, medical needs, & adoption services. To promote population control and welfare of animals in general and provide public education about same.
Description
Dixie Dachshund Rescue takes dachshunds and Dachshund mixes from shelters, owner surrenders, etc, has their medical needs met, places them in foster homes and socializes them. They are then listed for adoption on our website and suitable permanent homes are hopefully found. Applicants are screened and if approved, the Dachshund is available to be adopted.
