PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The Preparedness program promotes Community Disaster Education and awareness through a variety of activities taking place in local communities across Oregon and SW Washington. Helping businesses prepare for disasters is a vital component in developing resiliency within the community and across the Region. Businesses must take steps to ensure that their employees are prepared at home, as well as in the workplace, in addition to addressing their organization's emergency response and continuity plans.
