Do you have a desire to help out in your community, and have a compassionate heart towards those in need of companionship during the last days of their life journey? Be a volunteer!

Brio Hospice is looking for volunteers to join our Inter-Disciplinary Team to assist our patients. Brio Hospice provides comfort care to patients where they are, whether its in a residential home or assisted living facility.

Duties may include reading to or writing for the patient, sitting at a bedside, providing emotional support, companionship, helping with legacy projects, listening to music or going through old photos, and providing respite for their family members.

Clients receiving hospice care have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and have approximately 6 months or less to live. We are looking for individuals who will be the friendly representation of Brio to talk with seniors and provide respite for their families.

This a non-medical opportunity. Volunteer schedules are flexible and we train you for free!

As a side note, please check your "Spam" folders as return communications may end up there.

Mission Statement

At Brio Home Health & Hospice, hospice is both a philosophy of care and a health care program. Hospice is the philosophy that people facing advanced terminal disease should have every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest and to have dignity and comfort in every day of life. Hospice is also a healthcare program wherein patients in the advanced stages of terminal disease receive as much care as possible in the comfort of home, and this care focuses on symptom management, support of the family, comfort, quality of life, and dignity.

Brio Home Health & Hospice truly embraces the hospice philosophy and places great, great importance on the time our clients spend in hospice care. Each patient's quality of life during this very important time takes precedence over other concerns. Our hospice doctor is very involved with each admission. Each home is robustly staffed with nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains (as indicated), and volunteers to ensure each patient's needs are addressed as fully as possible.

Our service area is a 50-mile radius from our office in Chino Hills, California. This includes: Orange County, the Inland Empire, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, and Los Angeles County.
