Meals on Wheels is looking for short-term meal delivery drivers to deliver meal packs to home-bound seniors in the suburbs surrounding Hometown, IL.
Meal pick-up wold be at 8925 S. Kostner Avenue in Hometown, between 8:30am and 10:30am and a normal route will take about 2 hours to complete. Volunteer drivers are reimbursed at a rate of 0.55 cents per mile.

Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
