ORGANIZATION: Allied Ceramic Arts Institute (ACAI)

Our Gallery Curator Carol Brewer is looking for enthusiastic, friendly,outgoing people who are interested in art and would like to learn about the in’s & out’s of gallery operations. You will provide support to ACAI,s gallery program by manning the gallery during gallery open hours. Participating in gallery openings and events. Provide information and handouts to guests and have them complete and sign the guest book. You are responsible for maintaining the gallery area in ready to show condition. This includes a number of routine tasks including, data entry, dusting, watering plants, putting out the open signs or bringing them back in when the gallery shift is over. Our Gallery hours are Wednesday & Friday Noon - 4pm & Thursday Noon-7pm , Saturday 11am-3pm. Shifts vary from 2-3 hours.


You will learn about the current show, the artists showing and their work. You greet and welcome visitors show them around the gallery and studio and answer any questions about the art, artists or studio in general. You provide information and handouts to guests and have them complete and sign the guest book. Carol has over 9 years experience in gallery operations. We are a non profit community gallery located in Fair Oaks. Come help support local art and artists.
