Change a Child's Life and Help Close the Achievement Gap!

With the majority of our students living in economically, socially vulnerable households where a language other than English is primarily spoken, they face many barriers to achieving at grade level. As a homework tutor, you will support kindergarten through high schoolers as they practice new skills and concepts as well as adult residents as they continue their educational and professional advancement. Depending on your preferences, area of study, and skill set, you’ll be matched with a student or small group of students and assist them with completing daily homework and long-term projects. No experience tutoring? No problem! We’ll teach you how to support students in completing their assignments and becoming confident, independent learners.

The fall cycle of Homework Help starts September 18th and runs from 3:30 - 6:00 pm, Mondays through Thursdays until Thursday, December 15th.

If interested, please email Melissa Laubach, Program Coordinator, at mlaubach@tchdc.org, or call at (651) 224-5303.
