classroom

Less than 10% of students in high school opt for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) tracks in college. Only 1/3rd of US STEM jobs in 2018 will be filled by US workers. Its a national priority to bridge this STEM workforce gap. Providing real world connections early on gives students the knowledge and the inspiration to aspire for such careers. Check out www.nepris.comabout for more background information.

Key Questions

The questions will vary by request but typical questions include:

  • What types of things do you do in your job?
  • Why did you decide to pursue this career?
  • Did you have any role models or influencers in your life that helped make the decision?
  • What kind of team do you work on and what is your role on the team?
  • What are some challenges you face and how do you overcome them?
  • How is what I'm learning applied to what you do?
  • What is the most fun thing about your job?

Nepris will provide you a framework for each of these to help you prepare.
