PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To provide disaster mental health services to Red Cross clients and staff members. The DMH Team Member helps individuals cope with the emotional and environmental impact following a disaster by assessing client's needs, providing crisis intervention as needed.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Approximately 10 hours per month
REQUIRED TRAININGRequired:
- Foundations of Disaster Mental Health
- Psychological First Aid
