Every year, KLB hosts its annual Spring Clean up event in April from 8am to Noon, held in conjunction with Keep Texas Beautiful’s Trash Off and Keep America Beautiful’s Great America Clean Up activities. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, this event focuses on a city-wide clean up of Lewisville with special attention on areas in need of a little TLC. By sending out teams to various pre-determined locations, each team focuses on cleaning their spot and reports back at noon. This year, KLB will be hosting our annual Spring Clean Up on APRIL 25th, 2020. Join us from 8am to noon @ LHS High School for registration and location assignment. After the cleanup, we'll have a free lunch for volunteers on site, T-shirts on a first-come, first-serve basis and door prize drawings! This is a great event for the young and old alike, and is a great way to get your family, business, or organization involved. KLB provides all materials needed and even offers lunch, drinks, goody bags, and door prizes. There are also various awards to be given out afterwards for adult and youth categories, such as "most unusual piece of trash found" and "most trash collected".
