PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To provide health services to Red Cross clients and staff members. The DHS Team Member helps individuals with immediate medical related needs following a natural disaster and actively may participate (depending on qualifications)in the DHS on call schedule to insure clients needs are met.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Approximately 10 hours per month
- Disaster Services: An Overview
Required:
- Disaster Health Services Workshop
Required:
- Client Casework: Providing Emergency Assistance
- Shelter Fundamentals
- CAS 2.0 (depending on credentials)
- Psychological 1st Aid
- Health Care CPR
