Our Quality Assurance Program is looking for volunteers to make survey phone calls. We would like to insure that our admissions process and triage phone calls are handled inline with our mission to provide sacred care to all we touch. If you have a compassionate heart and enjoy talking on the phone- then this oppertuinity is for you. Calls will be performed at our office in Downey, CA and can also be made at our location in Culver City CA.

Description
Gerinet Healthcare is commited to creating a community of compassionate hospice care for terminally ill patients and their loved ones. We believe that every patient should be pain-free, comfortable, and surrounded by their loved ones as they approach end of life. Gerient Heathcare uses a team approach including patient, family members, physicians, nurses, home health aides, spiritual care counselors, social workers. and volunteers, who all work together to plan and coordinate care. Hospice volunteers become a vital part of this team.
At Gerinet Healthcare, our volunteer program is regulated by the state, Medicare, and Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAPS) and at least five percent of all patient care hours must be provided by trained volunteer. Whether working directly with patients or as support in the office, volunteers play an important role of quality of care we provide.
