The 11th annual premier culinary event Flavors of Houston, is almost here and we need your help! Each year, 20 of the finest chefs prepare a five-course dinner for a table of twelve guests. Flavors of Houston will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Houston to help raise funds for the Desert Southwest Division of the American Liver Foundation.

The mission of American Liver Foundation is to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. Monies raised from this event will help to combat these startling statistics; Diseases of the liver afflict one in every 10 Americans; Within the next 20 years, the hepatitis C epidemic is expected to cause more deaths an nually than AIDS; More than 15,000 people are in need of a life-saving liver transplant nationwide. In addition, monies raised will help to sponsor local Dallas support groups and educational seminars for patients and their families.

We are looking for volunteers to help us on the night of the event at any time you are able, between 5:00-11:00pm. Food will be provided to volunteers, please wear comfortable shoes and cocktail attire. Again, thank you for your consideration in supporting the American Liver Foundation.
