About

AID’s Crisis Line provides assistance to persons with a wide variety of needs and concerns:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Loneliness

  • Substance Abuse

We accept applications year round for Sunshine Caller volunteers. These are trained volunteers who offer phone support to people in need. Regular, scheduled phone calls made to our clients provide people with:

  • Social Interaction

  • Medication Reminders

  • Crisis Counseling

  • Referral to Community Resources

  • Sunshine caller applications are accepted all year, and training takes place while on your volunteer shift. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one, 4 hours volunteer shift a week. Volunteer shifts are available 7 days a week, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
