Do you enjoy sewing? Knitting? Crocheting? Working with fleece? Singing? Baking? Are you an individual or do you belong to a women's group, or church group, or sewing circle, or book club, or any organization that is looking for a chance to benefit their community? Then call us so we can get you on board as a volunteer with Avalon Hospice! We are looking for community minded folks who want to enrich the lives of our hospice patients with a little bit of cheer. We have a birthday club where we celebrate their special day with gifts and sweet treats. Help us make better a difficult situation. Description
Avalon Hospice is comprised of a team of doctors, nurses, aids, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers. Our approach to hospice care considers the wide range of needs patients and families experience when facing a terminal illness. Avalon's collaborative team approach ensures patients' and their families' specific needs are targeted and addressed quickly and with great compassion.
