Bereavement department seeks qualified individual interested in making initial calls to support families of those who have recently lost a loved one on our hospice services. Volunteer may also help with administative tasks such as mailings, filing and organization within bereavement department. This is considered direct patient contact.
Training and ongoing support is provided to volunteer.
Volunteer applicant with experience/education in the field of psychology, counseling, social work, or related fields is highly desired.
