The English Conversation Class is a 90 minute class in which the students learn topic words and one grammar goal, and then spend the time doing structured, student-led conversation on that subject. We provide a guide and teacher’s manual, but the lessons are adaptable to current events and specific interests. The goal is to improve student confidence in speaking and pronouncing English words.
It is similar to a general English as a Second Language class but more relaxed and conversational. The time may be spent covering things students will ask about or are highly relevant to the group (tax season, etc) so it is very fulfilling that you can see students engaging about things they care about.
