CourseWorld.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that manages a video library of 50,000 free Liberal Arts lectures, is looking for a part-time volunteer to assist with our development and grant research efforts.
Priorities include: Researching potential funders and grant opportunities (via an Internet database); customizing and sending letters of inquiry / grant proposals; tracking responses; assisting CEO in cultivating relationships with partners and donors.
Targeted funders include foundations, charities, private sector corporations, and individual donors.
Time commitment is flexible based on your availability; ideally we are looking for consistent and reliable help over the course of at least two to three months. You are welcome to perform these activities virtually/remotely, on your own schedule. If desired, you will also be considered a member of our Global Advisory Board.
You will make a tremendous impact on our new educational technology initiative which currently operates without funding. Together, let's make it possible for anyone in the world to access a quality liberal arts education for free.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
While prior development experience is a plus, it is not required. Above all, we are looking for a volunteer who is highly self-motivated, committed, and organized, with an interest in helping to grow our initiative. Remote applicants are welcome.
