You will play the primary role for grant and proposal management for the organization, working very independently but leveraging organizational resources to draft your response. We are looking for someone exceptionally organized that loves writing and wants to have a positive impact on underserved communities in the DC Metropolitan area.

The mission of Tomorrow's Black Men is to make a positive difference in the lives of troubled and at risk young males. By helping them to raise their standards of living, we wish to introduce and help reinforce the positive morals and values needed to equip these young men, thus enabling them to not only accept but to overcome the challenges that lie ahead of them. We will accomplish this through a professionally supported relationship with caring adults and responsible peers. Today's Black Men, are tomorrow's leaders, and we are committed to preparing them for that responsibility by providing guidance and structured programs that will enable them to become productive individuals thus promoting professional and personal growth.

Description

Tomorrow's Black Men works with troubled and at risk young males by offering educational assistance, technical training, and family strengthening programs. It is our goal to give the individual the needed tools to overcome the challenges that stem from lack of education, job skills and financial instability.
