WiNGS - for women and families. Our Core Purpose is to provide women and their families a path to a better life. It's not just our purpose. It's a promise.
WiNGS is dedicated to offering programs in the areas of pregnancy and parenting education, women’s health services, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. Outreach allows WiNGS to connect with potential members through community events and fairs. Volunteers assist by sharing information and creating awareness about WiNGS programs and services.
WiNGS seeks volunteers to assist with community outreach efforts. Specific duties include:
- Completing outreach training with WiNGS staff
- Representing WiNGS at community events and fairs
- Answer questions and provide information regarding WiNGS programs and services
- Make calls to potential partners to spread the word about WiNGS (using WiNGS phone at center)
Flexible schedule based on community events and volunteer availability.

WiNGS has been walking alongside women since 1908, constantly evolving to meet women’s changing needs. We continue to help women overcome poverty by taking charge of their futures as members seeking services, or giving back to others as mentors, coaches and advocates.
Our volunteers make up an essential part of our programing. By volunteering their time and knowledge as class facilitators. WiNGS offers both online and virtual classes to our members in areas of Financial Resilience, Career Advancement, and Personal Development.
